blown apex seals question

i was thinkign of buying an 87 FC but the apex seals are blown.. how easy is it to fix this problem? actually how much is it going to cost me to fix this problem.. cuz i already have an FD really no need for the FC but its a killer deal if i got it running again.. its a TII also...



when i say killer deal i mean FREE!!!!

if it's free, just take it. to repair blown apex seals, it requires rebuild of the engine or replacement of it. you can just buy a JDM engine for like $1200, or rebuilds at a shop usually start around $1200. btw, nice fd, i want one some day.

yeah deffinatley take it! I would recomend either if you want to learn to do this more often do it yourself but plan on spending more money then you would sending it to kevin at rotary resurrection. It's fun learning how to rebuild an engine but with all the b.s. that comes with it and the money it take I'm seriously thinking about taking my next rebuild to kevin, lol.
