Blowing EGI INJ fuse?
I just got back from towing the car back home. Blew the 40amp ENG INJ fuse and I can't figure out why. I took the upper manifold off and inspected the wireing harness and looked at the wireing for the injectors nothing there so I re-wrapped them. Looked at the wires for the coils and I didn't see anything there.
Right before the fuse blew the car would buck like crazy from a stop and through the gears. If I take of real slow almost like a crawl then it wouldn't do it. When the fuse blew I put a new one in then it wouldn't start. So I towed it home.
Checked: AFM connection, no air leaks, Wireing harness looks to be fine, coils and wireing are ok, checked the TPS.
This just started happening today. I have a CDI box, rewired walbro, 2x720's with resistors.

Time to follow the circuit diagrams in the back of the FSM. I went through a few blown EGI fuses before I realized that my crusty wiring near the BAC plug were allowing wires to short out against each other. Consequently the BAC was removed and no more EGI fuses were blown.
