Blocking off OMP...question...

I am blocking off the OMP and I will run premix. I can't install my blockoff plate because the gear that turns the OMP (from the oil pump) is in the way. How do I remove this (and please tell me i don't have to take off the front cover)?

Try rotating the engine backwards and push on the omp driver. You may need to give it a light tap. If it will not go in, then yes, the front cover comes off.

Just rock the engine back and forth while pushing in on the gear. It should pop back into place.
