Block off plates Q?????

the last thing i need to complete my T2 vert swap is to install my new block off plates. My question is i want to put all of them on but dont have the tools and time to take off my intake manifold to finish blocking off the rest of the vacuum ports. Can i just put the plates over the holes on the turbo side of the motor and seal of the vacuum lines goin to it. OR do i have to install all of the block off plates at once. its doesnt matter im just gonna eventually do em all but i use this car as a daily driver lol... and am at the point where im gettin rid of all the emissions ****.

another question is about all the colored plugs that are in a bunch right by where my powere steeering pump would be. there not p[lugged in cuz my rx tech said they didnt need to be. He also said sumthing about butting a connector by my FCD??

Install the plates you can get too right now, that will get you rolling do the others when you feel like it i guess. the colored plugs are for the emissions solinoid rack that was over there, you can either put them to the side out of the way incase you wanna put emissions back on or cut them off to make it look real clean over there, either way...

You may want to think about taking the smog crap off. IF it's a daily driver and your using the stock computer, then leave the smog on. Otherwise have fun.

You did a whole swap and lost the 4 wrenches you need to take off the intake manifold?

If you have gone this far and put this much time in just do the job right and then you don't have to worry about more problems due to doing things half way.

No tools? I'm in the process of doing the same, and I don't think I used anything more than a 10mm, 12mm, screwdriver, pliers, and wire cutters.

I did a full rat's nest removal and replaced all of the fuel, PCV, and vacuum lines. I'm waiting on the rest of my fuel injector seals to come in before I put it all back to gether and fire it up though. Maybe this weekend I'll get it done.

If you have the block-off-plates kit like I have, it probalby comes with one that blocks off the BAC. Just be sure that you leave that attached and working. That needs to stay so that your car will idle right.

I understand the difficulty and annoyance of pulling off the intake, I had to do it 4 time in one week...
