block off plates
hay all i got a 87 turbo 2 and have mostly the stock setup i just ordered some block off plates for my s4 and was wondering if anyone knows anything about tricking the stock ecu with a resistor or something like that?

hey bud i looked for 20 min or so and I cant find it ?? it was under the 2nd gen arch.. section. it had the the exact resistor you needed to trick the Stock computer.It was for the BAC valve/EGR , and so on . Good luck . If i can find it I will post a link

http://www.teamfc3s.org/info/articles/idle.html has a lot of good info. I think its a 10k ohm resisitor BTW but not sure.
Resistors need to be used to fool the ECU into thinking removed electrical devices are still there, but this does not apply to your 87 as the S4 ECU's self-diagnosis doesn't look at any output items, only input ones.
