ok i got a blitz turbo timer form the previous owner. with no instructions or anything. idownloaded the greddy pdf file though...but heres my main question...on the greddy one it has a brown wire that hooks up to the parking brake. on mine there are 2 wires..i think one red and one white..both have been snipped wite at the plug..so i cane even use them..unless maybe i solder...do i need these? and what exactly does the parking break wire do?> just let the car know the car is parked?

 

Why the hell are you looking at the greddy page for the blitz TT? And yes you need all the wires. They dont put them there for looks.

 

i installed a Blitz TT yesterday.

just ground the purple. I always use my parking break so it's pointless to me.

Are there any harness left on the timer? Or was there even a rx7 harness on the timer?

 

yes there is a harness..but u kno the second harness that comes off it..with the 3 wires there..one being purple..supposed to go to the speedo i think..and then the other 2...are the other 2 supposed to go to the break? and so u just grounded the purple that was supposed to the speedo? wat does the parking wires do anywayz?

 

i been told that it for theft reasons... ie u put the e-brake down and the car cuts off!!
