blitz dual turbo timer.. some boost ?s

i just installed a new blitz dtt.. when i'm at idle with engine fully warmmed up. i get -58hkpa to -60hkpa on the boost gauge and 0.42hkpa peak boost. is this the normal readings for a 89 FC?

1 kilo of boost, or however the hell it is in the metric system is ABOUT 15psi and 100kpa is also about 15psi so if you are running .42 that means you are boosting 6.3psi which sounds about right for an S5 like yours. Maybe just a tad on the low side but not by much.

I have the Blitz Dual too, and get similar readings for my 88. I boost a little higher, I've got my warning set for .48 which is a few hundredths before fuel cut (I have a DP, HF cats, and RB cat back) and can hit it if I try. My vacum readings are right in the same range. Which either means vacum leak or bad seals. I checked my compression and it was 85 to 90, so it's probably a vacum leak in my case (Lumpy idle too). I'd do the same checks on your engine, compression being the most important.

Although, the two vacum readings being so close could be a pecularity of the gauge, maybe it only reads so low? anyone else have their readins from a Blitz Dual?
