Blinkers wont return to off position after turn

So when I bought the car the blinkers werent going back to the start position after the turn. I took the steering wheel off and decided to look around and I found out that theres something snapped inside. I will add a picture later on since my phone is dead and cant upload pics atm.

Has anyone else had this problem before?

If so how much is the fix for it?

mine don't shut off either but I haven't taken my wheel and hub off to check it out , those tabs iirc are set to a position where they shut off so if they're broken that's why they aren't shutting off, I'm not sure if mine are broke or positioned incorrectly

if they're easily removed go to a junkyard and get some

Think they call it a clock spring, mine broken too.
Usually from swapping steering wheels

Like 4 different people said they would send me one and never did, lol

Only verts with airbags have "clocksprings" (which are not at all like a real clockspring, but you'll have that), everyone else has the tried-n-true slipring.
The most commonly broken part is called the "cancel cam", it connects the steering wheel to the turn signal switch on the column.

Yeah at first that's what I thought. And at the moment I've had to adapt to turning them off manually haha. Its more an annoyance when you forget and you get that GSS ( grandpa signal syndrome)
