Blinkers not working
Blinkers not working
Hi. Im having problem with my blinkers. It all started with the right blinkers were blinking fast. I drove it like that for a couple days and one morning none of the blinkers worked.
I have checked and replaced all bulbs, and checked the fuse (the one by the feet)
Is there any other blinker relay, if so where is it placed?
Thanks!

Bad Bulb, bad Fuse,Bad Bulb Connection,Bad Flasher CPU,or Broken wire at the Tails,or Front Signal lights..That is what I can think of off the top of my head.
Thanks for the replys. I´ve checked all bulbs and the fuse. If a wire is broken, shouldnt it just be the blinker with the broken wire that dont work?
Yes, a broke CPU unit is most likely. Is there any way to fix it, what could be broken in it?
Thanks

There will be a circuit board behind that plug. Remove the circuit board, and re-solder all the pins where the relays and the pins for the plug meet the circuit board. This solves it in about 75% of the CPUs.
You might have run out of blinker Fluid. On these old cars this is a common problem. Just fill it back up and you should be good to go.
I use this synthetic stuff, it seems to make the blinkers be smoother and more consistant:

Thanks Icemark! It was only the plug that was a little loose! So the blinkers are working now, but the right side still flash fast, and on the front blinker which is a blinker/position light I dont know if you got that in usa? It flashes in the position light instead of the blinker light.
Could it still be a CPU related problem? I have one more CPU box so I´ll swap them tomorrow and see.
Do the CPU box control the headlight motors too? My left motor dont work and its not the motor that is broke.
Thanks
