Ties into the oil pressure sender unit circuit. That's all I know about it. Except it seemingly makes no difference with it in the circuit or out of the circuit.

Hmm...I was told It muffles off noise of some sort. Thats all I was able to gather.

I broke the wire off the capacitator awhile Installing www.fc3s.org Oil Pedestal and have noticed neither no difference In stock Oil Pressure readings or noise of any sort.

Its a cap for the oil pressure signal, it smooths the oil gauge operation and prevents spikes in the electrical system of the gauge/sender that can artificially change the reported oil pressure.

In the mean time, I'll rely on my aftermarket Oil Pressure Gauge.
