Scaring the bejezuz out of me! Here is the history. Early this summer I put in a bone yard compressor. Mazda checked and charged. Blew cold air fine. I have not used her much cuz I had a BAC issue which I fixed with cleaning yesterday. That worked, it no longer stalls with A/C on.

However, after running at idle for a few minutes for the first time after the BAC cleaning, I got an incredibly loud and very deep sounding noise from the passenger side. It is also generating what seems to be a wild vibration. I cannot tell if it is inside or from in front it is so loud.

In the past, I got an unusual deep metalic "BOING" sound (like snapping a recoiling spring) from the A/C which seemed to come from near passenger dash. But only occured occasionally.

The loud noise does not start as soon as the A/C comes on (it is blowing cold air). It takes a minute or two. Shut A/C off and the put on again it again its is quiet and takes a minute or two to come back again. Some times a constant noise, sometimes it osulates.

Trashed my X wife years ago, my RX7 is a keeper. Hate to see her hurting. Please help her.
