Birthday presents for my 7 !!

Well, she is tuning 20 this month and she deserves a good birthday party. Here are some pics of the new parts to be installed. Once she is apart I will inspect all other suspension and driveline components to see if they are in need of replacement as well. I will update this thread with progress pics.

Thanks

I am more concerned about the handling aspect then the ride. The RB springs are not the stiffest out there. I think that the teins are stiffer than them.
I am going to stick with the stock sway bars for now until I can compare how much the handling improves due to the bushings, springs, and struts that I am installing. I do not autocross or track the car so I am not sure if they will be necessary.
I cleaned up the calipers with a wire brush and brake parts cleaner. Then i washed them them with some dish washing soap and let them dry. Finally I painted them with high temp paint that is supposed to be good up tp 1200 degrees. I hope that it holds up.(fingers crossed)

That's some awesome consideration for the rsexy-seven. I wish i could afford to show my appreciation as well, although i've been saving so it won't be too long! Also good work on the cleaning and painting, looks professional.

Yes, I carefully taped over the piston faces and the piston boots. As far as the other portions of the interior caliper I did not tape that portion, but I will inspect fitment during installation.

Well, as expected with any project you are bound to run into problems. I did today while attempting to remove the rear hubs from the halfshafts. I have tried the BFH and also tried using a puller, but to no availe they refuse to come off. I am going to continue my efforts to break them free, but I am open to suggestions.

The passenger side came off without any problems, but the drivers side is being stubborn.
