BIG puffy clouds of blue smoke
OK, so I recently picked up this poor, neglected, 87 turbo, thinking it would be fun to work on. Hmmm... entertaining.
First it simply wouldn't idle, and it turns out there are multiple reasons for that.
Our latest exploits had us doing the famous TB Mod, as well as remove all of the emissions paraphernalia.
I also replaced the vacuum system. I went from 5 Solenoids to 2, and capped off the extra vacuum nipples on the intake. (which were wide open when I got the car.) I was sure to replace the large diameter vacuum hose to the oil injectors, even though I didn't know what they were at the time.
Well, the car started right up, and sounded great, although there is now massive clouds of blue billowing smoke comming from the exhaust. I was sort of thinking that these silly oil injectors may be the problem. I even tried disconnecting the metering rod, and that didn't help. Could my vacuum exploits have caused the injectors to inject WAY too much oil?
Help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks,

Did you happen to plug the nipples on the oil filler tube? One should be open, or the car will smoke like crazy.
I did the same thing, and my car smoked because of that.
