big problem...

ok so i'm driving home from work and just turned on the car let sit for a min or 2. as i start tol leave car feels weird. so i stop at a stop sign and i start to accelerate and the car moves slow i push it and the car doesnt move and all of a sudden bam the car starts to move???? what the hell is going on???? another thing i had a previous post were the car was overheating a little the car starts to raise a little now... what could that be... i really dont have a chance to fix anything right now cause i have to work till saturday.. also if my header gasket is leaking would that make a difference??? when the guy that was putting my header on, he said the gasket was rotted and wanted $30 to put a new one on. i told him that i would put one on to use the old one for now.... basically everything is new in the car... new radiator, clutch fan, double sleeve pulley.. all this is less then a year old... what if i take the stat out will it do anything???? i also heard of hollowing out the stat how do u do that??? sorry for it being so long but i'm a little ticked about this now...

Seizing brake calipers sounds good to me, also, could be a seizing clutch slave cylinder?? I doubt it though.

this sounds stupid but check the mass airflow sensor this happen to afriend a week ago, the flapper in the sensor was real stiff and eventually seized wide open, this made the car run real rich and didn't pull till like 3 or grand when it would like take off.
