BIG BIG PROB>>>

i have a battery drain prob so i just got a new battery and i disconnect every time i turn off the car, but when i put in a new battery yesterday that i got for free replacement at pepboys, it acts as if the battery is dead.... sometimes lighting up the e-brake and door open signal but turning off after the click when i try to start it.....

im trying to sell the car soon and i need a temp fix until then... PLEASE HELP ME

new starter kit from tri-point eng. (expensive)
and new fancy platinum tip sparkplugs
new clutch flywheel

Your connector terminals are either loose or dirty. My car did the EXACT same thing because of this. To be sure meter the battery to verify 12 volts, then meter with 1 lead on the bat terminal, and 1 on the connector, then vice versa. That way you can determine which one is loose or needs cleaning.

I forgot, this could also have caused the old battery to die (it did in my case). The car starts off the battery, but since there is a bad connection, it is unable to charge itself back up. Good luck, its very aggriating but a simple fix

yes look at your alternator and test it that may be your problem

If its a new battery, the alternator shouldn't be an issue. Also don't you need the car running to test the alt?
