I just got scammed by user Tubbie Tray who I didn't see he only had just joined. I needed a BAC for a T2 motor and he sent me to a guy via a message named Donald VIQ. I should have known when the Zelle account had a name of Austin Sexton but I decided to take a chance as I needed the part. Its sad that people have to be so dishonest to scam people on parts. I guess thats what I get for letting my guard down, so I just want to let everyone know to watch out for this A@@hole.

 

Always beware if making a WTB post. Easiest way for scammers to reach out since you’re the one stating what you need & “of course they have it. Instant red flag if send you to someone else. If I do make a WTB, I triple check everything, even looking for the same photo they’ll provide on the general web.

and no buyer protection if going with Zelle/venmo. Sorry for your loss but thx for spreading the awareness to others.

I’ve had issue with buying here but through PayPal, had to dispute it with everything documented and put it in the good, the bad, the ugly. Guy finally responded and was in the hospital and sent out my stuff and everything was fine. Always use something with some level of buyer protection.
