Better fuel economy

HEy I was just wondering...

I'd like to get some better fuel economy, and I know that having a more efficent engin will help with this.

HOw bout these components:

Intake: will it actualy help with economy? I know it can help with power?

Exhaust: Again for power yes, I would imagine it would also help the Volumetiric Efficency (VE)

Fuel Management: I've seen how this definately helps with power from the dyno sheets of RarestRX's S5, also with VE?

Polished intake runners/ pineaple 5th/6th port inserts:
Help mke the intake charge a bit smoother, also with TB mod? Much of power or VE increase?

I'm probably forgetting some things.... I'm omitiong wheel size/gear ratio... that would probably do the most change... other than how much foot I use on the pedal

Just an idea... thought you guys might have some input.

Weight reduction. The less your car weighs, the easier it is for the motor to get it moving and the less gas it needs to make that happen. Driving around with 12" subs in the trunk = teh gas sucker.
