which is better?????

ok i have 2 stock cores and i want to make a fmic i have searched but none have helped is it better to run parrellel or in series? also how much do tig welders run per hour like if ya gotta pay someone else to do it.

If you chop one tank off each intercooler and weld the two cut ends together (in series), you double the surface area of the core that's exposed to cooling airflow, so it will cool much better. But you also double the length of the core's tubes, so it won't flow quite as well as before.
If you chop both tanks off both intercoolers, position them side-by-side and weld new tanks that cover both cores (in parallel), you double the surface area just like before, but you also double the number of the core's tubes, so you actually halve the restriction through the core.
So joining them in series is much easier to do and hence cheaper (and works okay); joining them in parallel works much better but requires the fabriaction of new tanks so will cost more.
