Best way to lift

i got into a problem.. i just got my rx7 recently.. and that car is full of rust on the bottom side.. and so low that i cant really put any other kinda jack on the bottom except a scissor jack..

and i already try lifting my car with it and the rust gave in and collapsed...
so where should i mount the jacks to remove my fuel tank?

Get some ramps and back up onto them. You could also put the jack on the differential. I've done it many times and have seen the tire shop do it on just about every RWD car.

if the tires are fubar put some fixaflat in them and blow them up with a compressor. ramps are cheap, but borrowing them is cheaper. Differential FTW.

+1 on jacking with the diff. As long as you aren't an idiot about it, it works great!
