Those NGKs are what I am running and they rock. I have never fowled or flooded them even with the trailing plug wires completely destroyed with no voltage to them. the idle was rough though. wait....still is!damn!

No choice... as covered before (hint hint search next time) by far best plug for the 13B is the Denso Iridium plugs.

IRE01-27 for the leading
IRE01-31 for the trailing

Blows the NGK away... both in sparkplug life and durability as well as actual spark propagation.

I use them in my 88 vert as well as they will be used in the 10thAE when I get it running.

Iridiums are the BEST spark plugs for the 13B, period.
Can you afford $30+ per spark plug?
That's close to $150 for all four for ONE engine.

Denso iridium plugs= NGK

Nippon Denso makes both.

TED: can you run Iridium and then the regular NGK's ? i.e. split between trailing and leading.

Uh, AFAIK, NGK and ND are two different companies.
Do you have proof they are the same?

I've argued about splitting the plugs with platinum and Iridium. (simply because Iridium is $$$$) but i've never been able to figure out which goes which. Stick the Iridium in the leading or trailing. For now, i just run stock trailings all the way around.

Bosch is crap.
I used to use them on Hondas, and they are suspect on quality control - dunno why.
I've heard of center electode failures.

for 30 a plug it better last quite some time longer then stock

and how much of a difference will there really be with them vs stock for power/mpg and such
