Question Best Replacement For Main-Cat And Pre-Cats?

Hey Guys,

I'll be replacing my exhaust manifold in 2 weeks because its cracked and I want to replace my cats as well. My main cat is gutted and my pre cats seem to be getting bad as well. Anyone recommend anything, I want a nice Main and Pre High Flow cat that'll let me pass smog (I hate Cali) and will give me some punch. Thanks Alot

You will pass with just the bonez main cat replacement in CA. If everything else in your car is running right you wont need the precat.

Can I get a part number or link to the bonez main cat? I think I saw a duel system hi-flow made by bonez for like 340, does that replace both pre's and the main?

Or just move to Iowa (or anywhere else that doesn't test). I'm looking at the Racing Beat downpipe & midpipe kit, because I just want the precats out. I haven't checked them, but if they went south & clogged my exhaust, it wouldn't surprise me. While I'm rebuilding the engine, I may as well fix the exhaust.

What color are you planning to paint the exhaust, and what kind of paint will take that kind of temperature?

I like socal lotsa racing events . I'm sorry I wasn't more specific I'm getting the car painted not my exhaust. I have a racing beat Y pipe and mufflers, Chrome is just fine with me . So many things planned for this thing. If they don't test where your at you might as well go to some muffler shop and have them make you a straight pipe.
