Best place to get new interior carpet?

I am in the process of restoring my 87 TII and it needs new carpet. Has anyone bought a new carpet set before? Where can I get the best deal. I have seen some carpets for sale on ebay for around $150....does anyone have any experience with these? What is their quality? Also, they are for coupe models, but my car is a 2+2, so would I be able to cut and fit the regular carpet to fit the rear area of the 2+2? Thanks for any help guys!

Not sure bout the carpet, but you need to add some stuff to that bare RX-7 site of yours! You give lots of glory to that MR2 (very nice, and I want one!) but nothing but a pic of your rex! Oh yeah, nice bike! If I only had the cash....

although I have looked, I haven't found anyone that makes a carpet set for either the 'verts or 2+2.

On the 2+2 you could probably use the standard carpet set, and just trim the bottom section off and spray glue in the peice below the rear seat, or just get a couple of extra yards of carpet and make your own filler section.

the carpet sets are in 2 parts. the main floor and the rear.
the main carpet is the same for 2+2 and the 2+0. the rear carpet is different but it is not very expensive

Yeah, I know I need to add some info about the RX-7 on my web site. With me being in medical school my free time is pretty limited, and I guess I'd rather be using what little time I have to work on the car instead of just write about it! But I will get something more up this week probably. I was thinking the same thing about just cutting off part of the rear carpet to fit the 2+2, I was just wondering if anyone else had done this?? Also, I've never priced carpet before, so is the $150 price on ebay a reasonable price or should I look elsewhere?

I've been thinking about replacing my carpet at some point. I came across this place that had a listing on eBay and followed their link to their home page. Appears the price is $189.95 for complete set, but it is only for the 2 + 0.

I'm not sure who it was but I remember someone saying that they removed the old carpet and took it to an upholstery type place. They used the old one as a pattern and made him an awesome set for a portion of what everyone is quoting. He said it was great quality too. Thats always an option.

I went to a custom install stereo shop and they have lots of carpet for custom interiors... Why not talk to them?
