Question Best Place for Diagrams/maps?????????

Is the factory service manual the best place for vacuum diagrams and electrical diagrams for the FC. I am trying to find this out for a friend. I have an FD an we have a bunch of sites dedicated to troubleshooting and vacuum diagrams and stuff. Are there any good sites to look at for the FC. Thank you all...

The factory service manual, 1987 version, is a good place for wiring diagrams. I've yet to see a truly good picture, diagram, whaatever for the vacuum lines on a turbo or a N/A. The ones I have seen....well the first thought is OHBOY, then as you look further, you cannot follos the vac lines from point to point. I finally just figured out where each one goes. Just figured out the funciton of each solenoid and figured out where the end should be. Sorry 'bout that.

Yes, the FSM is the best place to get those diagrams, but that's because it's the only place! The wiring diagrams are great but like Hailers said the vac diagrams are not very clear. But it's not too hard to follow them, and I've found them invaluable in figuring out how everything worked and what can be removed, etc. You can download the Series 4 and Series 5 FSM's as PDF files for free from www.fc3s.org but only S4 one has wiring diagrams. If you want S5 wiring diagrams you'll have to buy the real thing.
