best "keyed on" wire to tap into

just wondering what wire everybody taps into for gauge pod lighting.

I tapped my gauge lights into the ash try light, so the gauge lights will dim with the other interior lights.

Good choice and this wire is Red/Green.

it takes 2 minutes to find one with a multimeter probing the fuse box near your dead pedal. use one of these.

Yeah that fuse adapter is bad ***!! I have never seen those at a normal auto parts store though...where did you get those 87?

they are called automotive fuse taps.
There are many different kinds, theres like the one 87 t-66 showed, and there are ones with a metal strip where you plug a spade connector to it.
