I got a K&N intake for like 150. I have had K&N filters on my last 5 cars. They are good.

get an adapter plate like $15 off ebay and bolt up any cone style filter for $15 on it. Works great! (Adapter plate goes right on the air mass sensor)

PVC intake is what I want. But, does it make your printer print faster?

What size PVC, what PN airfilter is that, and which plumbing adapter did you use to bolt onto AFM?

If you plan on running your engine pretty much stock, you can simply drop a rectangular K&N filter into the stock air box.

Only the 86-88 cars need the adapter because they have a square AFM. The 89-92 cars have a round AFM which readily accepts a cone filter.
