best FMIC?

k, i'm planning to upgrade my stock intercooler to FMIC, i've looked into kits from Greddy and other manufacturers, and right now i can't afford 1500 for a FMIC. i want to have FMIC before warm weather rolls around and I want to learn more about custom set ups. For those of you out there that fabricated a custom FMIC set up, could you describe your set-up briefly and list the cost if you can. I would appreciate it. I've also heard that you can end up with loss of throttle response by switching over to FMIC (due to longer plumbing). Any additionaly info on FMIC upgrade would be appreciated, thanx

Your running a greddy turbo upgrade and no fmic??? I used to run the spearco 2-178. Great core, 20x8x3.5 cost is $600. Depending on who does your piping, it could be from $50 to $300 or so. I recommend having the endtanks both face straight up... Its the easiest way to do the piping.
