The 89-92 years had a bit more HP than the 86-88 years.

As far as models go - you have choices to make

Turbo II - SUPERCAR - handles 450+HP
Convertible - sweet fun in the sun model
GTU-S / sport - lightweight non turbo racing model (stripped for speed)
GXL - luxury model

The Series 5 cars(89-91) are generally a better car than the Series 4(86-88) cars. But if youre looking for a TII, you will have a hard time finding a good S5 one, but there aer quite a few S4 TII's.

Just my 2 cents but I think as far as a turbo II the 87-88 is better because that it had lower compression rotors.Which=more boost.

I don't know about that. I think each new engine, the S4 13BT, the S5 13BT, and the FD engine are progressively able to handle more power. That's why most the big FC drag racers and such usually get rid of their's, in favor of the FD 13B.
