Best exhaust for FC

I'm looking for a full exhaust system for my FC. I've looked at the greddy, apexi, and racing beat. I'm pretty sold on the road race exhaust from racing beat. Now it runs roughly $1000 so I'm going to be cautious when I buy. Now what is the best as far as product quality, performance, and sound. In the same price range than the road race exhaust that includes header, presilencer, y-pipe, and mufflers. IS the road race setup even worth the $1000?

I'd say yes. Based on everything I've read, everyone likes racing beat best.

Any advantages to true dual? Also what are expected power increases from the road race setup?

Why do you guys favor the racing beat over the HKS exhaust system? is it price? or performance?

I don't favor the HKS, but it was one of the ones I liked becuase it had no cats and was a true dual exhaust. I havent even looked into the greddy at all... The HKS is 1700$ cndn!

i was told that the headers for any fc are pointless and that the ones for the NA are a huge waste of money and actually hurt more than they do good

Then why would headers even be made...
From what I've read headers work best on carbed systems for racing...

my guess would be the backpressure issue is to blame there. if the header is more freeflowing it has to increase power.

Have you ever seen the N/A exhaust manifold?? didn't think so otherwise you wouldn't believe whoever told you that..

The exhaust gases on the stock manifold come out smack the side of the manifold do a 90* turn then hits another exhaust pulse that smacks the side of the manifold once more.. that does a 90* turn and all that has to go through 3 cats...

now if you believe that would be better then a smooth flowing header, well more power to ya (metaforically speaking of course!)

I have run straight pipe on both the stack manifold and the RB off-road header and can tell you there is a huge top end difference with the RB setup, loud but that's with straight pipes, with the full Rb system you shouldn't have to worry about having people's ears bleeding as you go by which can be fun by the way, so i highly recommend getting the RB system

It sounds offficial then. I'm running stock exhaust with a straight pipe right now. The sound is mellow and it picked up a bit with the straight pipe. But probably didn't make a huge difference. RB road race exhaust it is!

How would a less restrictive (not to the point of no torque) exhaust peice hurt performance? Have you looked at the stock exhaust manifold on an FC lately? Its like a damn lego peice!!! I noticed an immediate, though slight, difference in my car's behavior after I installed mine, not to mention it sound tough as *****.

I have the full Racing Beat turboback exhaust (Dp->Mufflers). I was upgrading from a catted single 3'' exhaust; the power increase was very noticeable from that. Its extremely quiet and makes an unforgettable sound.

Its worth every dollar of the $1000. Smartest mod you can do that I can think of.

i heard the blitz nur spec is better flowing than the racing beat. any truth to this? im still debating if the blitz nur spec or the RB is the one i want, for now, its goin to be a single, with a dual exhaust system whenever. also i heard the blitz sounds real good, anyone have one to back this up?
