Best Brake Pads

I was thinking of hawk hp+ or hawk blue. which should I use for everyday use? Or is there a better brand to use?

not blue!! hps is best for street. $50 front, $35 rear from mazda comp. hp+ will eat rotors faster.

The Blues are designed to work within a certain temperature range. You likely wont get them hot enough continuously to see the benefit. Save the money and go with HP.

On the street you really can't tell the difference between HP+ and HPS, except the HP+ DUST LIKE MAD.

If you auto-x and drive on the street use HPS, if you want to do track days then go ahead and buy a separate set of pads for the track, like the Hawk Blues.

My 93 R1 has HP+ on it and within 20-30 miles there is a slight coating of dust on the wheels, within 100-150 miles the front wheels look gunmetal colored. I love the way the HP+ perform, I just hate the dusting.
