I think the RE Amemiya FC2000 kit and the GP Sports kit look the best. I'm torn in between which one to get.

Stock. When you try to update the exterior of a classic aesthetic design, it always looks "overdone." Too many vents, or the proportions don't look right. IMHO

Does anyone have any pics of the Series 5 2nd Gen Turbo? I agree with you on stock looks. I thought about the GP Sports...but the front looks way too overdone...i might put in their sideskirts or bomex's tho...they seem to fit nicely...

gtc is a hell no looks to new for an old car it has those big *** vents for a window ac unit i would say that the re amemyia fc2000 kit isnt that bad and the lights only make it look like a third gen with non pop ups so its a give and take i personally like an s5 front with the lower lip but i still have a place for the fc2000 kit

I'd say for the front bumper that I'll just probably just add a front lip spoiler (like the one from fc3spro), for the side skirts I think the bomex skirts are GORGEOUS, and as for the rear bumper I'm kinda dumb founded for now, but possibly the GP Sports...hell maybe even just the bomex rear. But that's just a concept for now.

The FC kit is nice on a race/track car but too extreme for the street IMO. It's also ridiculously priced. Just the RE light kit and front bumper are $2000 from Rotary Performance. Thats retarded for a plastice bumper and some lights. Sure it looks good but so out of price range.

Laugh if you want but I like the erebuni kit. It looks very close to stock, with slightly more aggressive lines. Definitely not extreme.

if you want understated, Bomex makes a kit that isn't full of tons of vents, the red one on their site, not that crappy prototype at the bottom. But the GP Sports kit is my favorite, i love drift kits.

I don't really favor the Bomex front end (especially since it doesn't line up with the '86...biased...maybe , but it just changes the flow of the car in my opinion. The rest of the kit looks great. Also if I was making a trackday car then the RE kits is the EASY choice...well then again there is the mariah kit which is also great (the mode five...I'm still trying to love the mode six from all angles...I like some angles but some just don't work for me).

I don't see how people say the GP sports front end has too many vents or whatever. It actually looks close to stock. The top is all the same basically it just goes lower and is opened up more. Looks good. I will be getting the FC 2000 kit next spring but thats just because I want the light kit really. Still need to find a rear bumper that will be low enough to match the RE sides and front.

Well i really got into the FC from Initial D and ive been trying to find one like that...turns out it's just a FE(I think)front lip spoiler on the stock aero 5 kit...so I plan on doing that front lip, and the rest will be Bomex...sound decent? Thanks again for all the opinions...and yes i am stupid cause i just got into FCs a few days ago..switched from supras cause i realized saving that much money just isn't worth it for when u turn 16...hehe.($3000/yr insurance...for a 93!)

Well good front bumpers from Japanese companies cost like $800-2000 or so, so the lip at $600 from a pretty pricey company isn't all that bad I guess. PM "inukai" for the best price. I bet he can get it for like $350.
