It's okay.. That's how you learn. Belts are an easy item that you can learn.

1.) No specific part number off hand... If you go to the local store (Advance Auto, AutoZone, PepBoys, or where ever.) Tell them what you have... 1990 Mazda RX-7, non-turbo. (Or whatever year you have.) They'll have the listings for the correct part numbers. They're fairly common "V" belts.

You'll need a total of four belts if you want to do them all.
-Alternator Belt
-Air pump belt (Also may be called Smog Pump)
-Power Steering Belt
-Air Conditioner belt

Here are some good brands:
GoodYear (Same company that makes tires. Belts are usually branded "Gatorback")
Gates (Same company that makes lots of radiator hoses.)
Continental (Same company that makes tires.)
Bando (Makes belts for a lot of car companies.)
Dayco (Also known for belts and hoses. Belts are usually branded "Top Cog")

In the end, belts are all pretty similar. They're rubber with a nylon rope in them to make them strong. Whatever the part store provides should be sufficient.

2.) Each of the belts under the hood has a device to tension it.
We've already shown you how to loosen and tighten the power steering belt.

The air conditioning belt has a similar bolt right next to the power steering. You can see the tensioner pulley just under the one or the power steering.

Th alternator and air pump both work differently than the power steering... Both of those devices you actually move the entire unit.

For the alternator, you need a 12mm and 14mm wrench. There are two bolts on the alternator that both have to be loosened. After that, just push down on the top of the alternator. The belt should come of easy.

To put the new belt on, follow the same path that the old belt took. Then you need to put a long bar between the engine and the alternator. Pry up on the alternator to tighten the belt, then tighten those two bolts on the alternator to lock it in place.

The air pump works similarly.

3.) The pulleys should all be aligned already. Just follow the path that the old belts took... Take your time and you should be fine. It helps to take a picture so that you can remember how they go. Some cars even have a drawing under the hood.

When you stop at the auto parts store, spend an extra $20 and get a Haynes Manual. It has a lot of these basic procedures in it and will help you out greatly.

Or you can download the entire Factory Service Manual (FSM) here:
http://foxed.ca/foxed/index.php?page=rx7manual

It's what the dealer technicians used when the car was in service at the dealers... It's the most detailed book you can get to work on these cars.

^ I just looked at your video again... It appears that you do not have Air Conditioning. Ignore anything that has to do with A/C in my post above.

You only need three belts.

Also, use a good clean rag and clean up all that spray you put on there. Maybe a little alcohol or something will get it even cleaner, but a good rag will get most of it up.
