Bell Housing to Firewall ground

Bell Housing to Firewall ground

ok...i am having trouble finding this ground. can someone tell me which side of the engine i should be looking? or better yet a pic? the bell housing is where the tranny attaches to the block, right? so far i am looking in the space where the oil filter is. am i close?

Look on the Top of the bell housing DEAD CENTER. The ground runs from there to the spade lug to the right of the windshield wiper motor

If your looking for the ground I would suggest going to your local parts store and getting a 14-19" 4 gauge battery cable with the loop ends and putting that in the car for your firewall to tranny ground... It works great and that actually killed my 3800 hesitation.

Holy overkill batman! I just used 10 gauge, seems to work fine.

slim black wire= ground

Large blue wire= amp + from battery

which bolt on the tranny should i ground the wire to. I know where to ground it to the firewall, but not transmission.
