There's nothing worse then a hot summer rain. It's raining so you can't roll the window down, and if you don't have AC it really sucks.

Engine bay looked clean as hell in the first pic....awesome in the last pic.
Wish mine looked like that.
And yes keep the a/c. I'm not as fortunate being that I have to replace my a/c compressor which is sitting in the garage as of this time. And I just got my power window working. I'm calling the car "the oven" until it is fixed or winter comes back around.

If i recall correctly this is perfectly normal for an S4 N/A. Mine runs pretty much the same, about 1/4 way up the guage level and a perfect 180-185 MAX on the microtech read-out.

Outcools any other fan made? According to who? No one has actually tested the cfm's of the stock fan... besides, with an e-fan you can have it turn on at any temp you want and keep it cooler. 1/4 of the way on an s4 is normal, thats what mine always is and all my cooling stuff is stock from 1988

Alright here are the pics I said I'd post. I didn't clean my engine or anything, this is how it always looks and my battery is not relocated currently. But here ya go...

Oh and also, when I said you still got way too much stuff in there, I was refering to the rats nest you still have, ps, ac, and clutch fan (which I know I still have but I will be going e-fan eventually).

Future plans for the engine bay are: E-fan with no fan shroud, cai, relocated (lightweight) battery. There's really not much more I personally can do, I've removed almost everything I can I still want to go through it, though, and clean up any old brackets or plastic wire/tube holders that are in there that are no longer used. Plus I need to take the little pipe that comes from the gas tank that should be going to the charcoal canister out and have it vent somewhere else.

Oh yes, and in those pics you can see my whole 3 vac lines

2 going into the tb/dynamic chamber (red) and then the boost sensor going into the intake mani, I love no longer having tons of stupid vac lines.

Yah that's understandable, I'd want AC in Texas. My AC was actually broken and I would've had to convert it to todays new standard whatever it is, which I didn't want to do, so out it came

Thanks a bunch, I've been working on it for a while and am almost done. No times yet, I'm hopefully going to the track on May 5th or 7th. I'm really anxious to see what I'm running. I've removed 196.2 lbs so far!! Plus my full exhaust, k&n filter, ported intake manifolds, tb mod, etc... I am really excited
