Before-
(dig the phone dials, eh?)
After-
Currently completing an S5 conversion and stripping to bare metal, molding the spoiler to the body, then doing a full repaint in S5 factory black, with a ton of clear. Engine has nitrous now as well. 500+ RWHP on pump gas.
There's poly bushings, new springs/struts and TII brakes with braided lines and DOT5 fluid under it now as well. Also derusted and rustproofed everything-

It's not a new car... the rear quarter panels, doors, and glass (other then the hatch) are totally factory... and the steering rack, that too.
Everything else has been changed. Seriously.
WOW, there's some amazing work done here. The two LS1 swaps really show how to do it right, if you're so inclined. All of the custom, and restoration work I've seen impresses and inspires me. I need to get some pics together, but I'm still at the "middle" stage.
1987 GXL, purchased for $2,000 fall of 2004. This is how I recieved it:

Very crusty, and the rockers and quarters were rusted to hell on both sides. I cleaned it all up, made a few mechanical changes and sliced all the rsuted areas off and replaced w/ fiberglass (turned out rpetty well for doing it my ghetto self
).
The paint is still off on a few spots, but that's nothing a cheap spray job won't fix (I don't want to put much more $$ into this chassis):

Yet another LS1 swap. Don't tell me I killed an FC because it was a NA/auto with a blown coolant seal that probably would have been parted out.
