beeping sound

Was driving today on highway and beeping sound started coming on. The beeping sound was continuous for around 30 beeps and stopped. It would come back periodically. Also noticed a slight resistance when turning at slow speeds. I checked other threads. Is the compurter warning me that something is wrong with the power steering and will adding power steering fluid make a difference? what kind should I get. any specific type for my 87 TII? Which resevoir is the power steering, the rectangular housing or the round housing. as you can tell, I am not too familiar with car maintenance.

thanks

I believe the answer to this is in the FAQ thread up top. Check that out. The beeping is normally for the P/s cpu if you have removed the ps pump.

Actually, Zenki FC3S turbos are optional - my '87 has no PS.
All Kouki FC3S turbos are standard PS.
This is for US-spec cars.
