What are winters like where you live? Anything comparable to Canada?
I've parked my 7 for the winter, lets not mention the fact that I poped the oil seal at the end of last month :P but I actually did plan on parking for the winter, and have some stuffs planned for my car too. Alas it is an N/A so it only goes as far as rebuild+streetport, some intake and exhaust work, some manifold porting and as large a shot of NOS as I can possably get away with puting on, just so I can put up a fight against the local turbo'ed cars, as well as fixing all the minor things that are messed up now like my busted oil cooler line, trailing arm, blown front struts and emergency break cable. I havn't figured out what I want to do suspension wise yet, havn't looked into it, but I guess I could be like all the other wannabes and say "It's going to be a strictly drag car" or something :P
Wow I can't believe I plan on pooring this much money into an N/A... I must be mad.

damn..not only rear subframe, but front is shot too..

i`m going to install spare one tonight and while i`m at it, i`ll put on RB swaybars, endlinks, swap PS steering rack for manual one and replace dust covers on balljoints and tie rod ends for Energy suspension ones...

GC coilovers and caster/camber plates will go on tomorrow afternoon...

Does that happen to be the one in the movie that is floating around the net? That looked like a bad crash. Flipped over several time.

It looks like from the pics that he let off the gas to quick and/or stepped on the brake and the rear gripped and snapped him around.

This is the perfect example of the 1st and best upgrade you can do, and that is upgrade you driving skill. Before you start upgrading your car do a few autocrosses or go to a drivers school. Most people start modifing their cars before they can drive them to full there full potential.

Why do people like taking the slow way around the track? Drifting is stupid. Oh, and power on oversteer != drifting.
Drifting is not stupid it can greatly increase the acceleration outside of the turn. It sure beats braking through a turn. The only problem is that it is really dangerous and expensive to learn to drift properly and if you cant do it properly then its not worth it.

indeed, when preformed properly under certain circumstances, it can allow you to maintain higher speed through the corner. F1 use exiting drift when they are taking corners that would normally have compromised apexes.

I recentlly installed the rear toe eliminators on my 86 n/a and I would have to say that that was the best thing i coulda done to improve the level of control i have over my car.(keyword control! not to be mixed up with better handling)... befor i installed them i would drive my car up and down various (remote) mountain roads trying driffent ways to drift and grip drive. lets just say when i did drift those rear toe thingys sure made it alot more.... unpredictabld. but now my car kicks all sorts of ***. no more of that pesky catching mid drift ****.. or understeering in a fast turn... i mean who woulda thought ya could fall in love with ya car all over again! =-)

damn, that realy sux, im gunna be pissed when it happens to me, i know it's going to but i realy don't want it too, o ya PRESETLIMITS, try opening a dos promt and then typing this: PING www.rx7club.com. and them copy the ip into the browser box, it used to work on my old schools computers, but it doesn't work on the one i go to now, if it won't work for this web sight then it might work for a popular "vulgar" sight that they just block by the name instead of using a filter...
