i took out the PS in my car, and now i hear a high pitched constent beeeeep, it dont pause at all not like the FSM whould say it translates to?

Unplug the the clip from the silver box behind the dash near the steering column.

is that beeper for the PS only or does it do other things? i would like to fix the problem if that beeper its for evrything els to but if its just PS thing than thank you

its the PS computer. just unplug it and if you want you can remove it.

if you didn't unplug the power steering computer, but removed the power steering system (for what ever reason), you are probably hearing the power steering computer telling you it can't find the power steering pump.

Of course if you read the FAQ for FC sticky thread found at the top of this section instead of posting this thread you would have already known that is, what causing the beeping.

But if it is a constant buzzer going off, in your hacking up the car, you probably disconnected either the oil level sensor, or the coolant level sensor.

well i heard a constent beep, checked all fluids, i looked at the de-power rack thread they didnt say anything about unpluging it once removed, and i knew it was the PS ECU, but i wanted to make shur it was the right way to do so. but anyway, i went and unplugged it and itsss alll good thanks alot for the help!
