beat a new gt stang

so i was coming home from work last night on this 2 lane highway that has about a quater mile or so straightaway stretch on it. I was doing about 55 or so in fifth and this white brand new looking gt stang pulls up right next to me doing the little shimmy back and forth like he wants to race. So i double clutch into fourth and were off. at redline i shift into fifth and pump the clutch again, buy the end of the stretch i was ahead of him by about a car length. i slowed down when the road started to curve and he reved his engine and flew by me as i slowed back to my cruising 55. NOW....heres what i cant figure out...why did i win...i figure either this guy really wasnt racing(which i dont think is the case).... or he really doesnt know how to drive. He had the stock gt exhaust i believe...it was dark and i couldnt really tell- it sounded stock though... I got intake, custom exhaust - downpipe, no precats, straight pipe from the cat to a single muffler, and a brand new suspension - sway bar, springs etc... my car was also just tuned, new plugs, injectors cleaned, and tps adjusted. what do yall think about this little race?

any year stock mustang ( except cobras) are no match period, to a fully modified n/a Rx7. I've beat just about every kind from 89+, the only ones that give u a run are the cobras.

I don't think anyone, including myself give a F$#%, what he thinks. Just the usual domestic V8 attitude.

1Revvin7 shut the **** up, lets just read your signature.

Don't waste ur $$$ on n/as. Trust me, i wish somone would have told my this years ago, I could have saved thousands and been 10x faster.

All of you are so slow and dont even know it. Go ahead and keep running 15's and 16's and wasting tons of money to go no where.

All these cars you listed are WAY faster then any n/a rx7. The fastest n/a 2 rotor is a 14.01, these cars run that stock or faster.

So you were cruising at 55mph in fifth...then went to 4th when you were racing?? Then you redlined 4th...so you were going ~130mph?? What kind of car do you have, cuz the newer Mustang GT's run low 14's, unless you have a descently modded T2, I dont think you would have had a chance in hell from a 55mph roll, only hitting 4th gear.

'

according to magazines with PROFESSIONAL DRIVERS.
And i know those numbers are inaccurate, cuz half the cars i've ran have had autos, pretty hard to mess up. And accorind to the stats s/b running high 13's low 14's.

this is so funny, straight pipe V8s have unmistakable exhaust tones. beside my mom had a 01' v6 stang, and those cars are imbarrassing, similar to a stock n/a though.

If you can find a quarter mile time for that car, I'll give you a nice shiny quarter.

You were cruising at 55 in 5th gear and dropped it in 4th and redlined it in less than a 1/4 mile in a lightly modified 87GXL?

Dude, put the PS2 controller down and stop playing GT3 right now!!!!!!!!!!!!!
