The negative cable attaches to the bolt that is behind the oil pressure sensor.
The positive cable attaches to the B terminal on the solenoid.

Don't have a solenoid off, but it is the largest terminal so that it will accept the cable. Some are even marked with a code.

How 'bout this: there are two large terminals on the solenoid. ONE terminal has a wire/cable on it , and that cable/wire goes into the body of the starter itself (colored BLUE in the jpg attached).

So you connect the cable from the batt positive post to the OTHER large terminal.

The attached jpg is out of the ENGINE ELECTRICAL part of the free online FSM.
