Battery problem...
car won't start after sitting for hours...turns over a couple times then dies...fires up right a way if I jump it...seems to hold a service charge if I take for a drive...shut er down...leave it for an hour...it'll start right up...battery reads 13.09V with a DMM...could be bad cells...??????...cold weather...time for a new battery...

First, it would be best to have the battery tested, and make certain the alternator is good. If both prove to be good, check for a draw when the ignition is off. You can disconnect the battery and let it sit until the next use, and if it starts fine, then there must be a draw.
Disconnect the negative terminal and do a test with an ammeter. Geez, I recommended using a 12 volt light to check for draw as some don't have a MM, or aren't familiar with amps, and got my head handed to me, so once again use an ammeter to check for a draw. The normal current drain on most vehicles should be about 25/75 milliamps or less. If the key-off drain exceeds 75 milliamps, there’s an electrical problem that requires further diagnosis. Start pulling fuses until you reach the circuit when the meter drops and continue from there.
