Unhappy Battery and Idle Problems

Sometimes when i put my key in to start my car, everything electronic inside just shuts off. I then must pop hood and literally hit the battery connections. This fixes it until i actually use a wire brush to clean the connections.

Well anyway, thats not my problem. Myt problem is my idle. It has the whole cold start to 3k RPM just fine, but when that wears off, the idle is either a 250 RPM or just stalls out. I dont know if the battery thing had anything to do with it, but it might, so hence i posted it. Anyone know whats the problem with my idle?

Adjust it. There is a very detailed write up in the factory service manual. www.iluvmyrx7.com

The file you need is only 7MB. That'll only take about half an hour on dial-up.

I'd guess the bac connector is off or the circuit has gone away. Read this http://www.teamfc3s.org/info/articles/idle.html There is a free online factory service manual at http://www.iluvmyrx7.com just download the FUEL section and save it to disc.
