I decided to tune up my rx7 (first time working on a car) I took out the wires and plugs but did not write down which coil went where. they are labelled 1/2 on the leading and trailing coils but I dont know which one goes where. Is #1 in the front of the car (closest to nose) or is #1 in the back (closest to the firewall)?

#1 is the front rotor, #2 is the rear. Don't mix up the leading and trailing plugs either. Leading is on top, trailing on the bottom. The coils are marked L1 and L2 (leading coil behind the headlight) and T1 and T2 (trailing coil by the firewall).
