I picked up a set of 17" bronze finish ADR's off Ebay for about $400 shipped. Were I you I'd stick with something subdued for a car that's not bright, like Silver or Bronze finish instead of polished or chromed or gold. I like using TireRack's tool to see what looks good and then shop elsewhere for better prices.

Anything silver will work.
Gold will work also.
White will work also with the right design.

dont know specific rims, but if you could powdercoat the rims(usually a couple hundred around here) and match the color to the car. some people around here do that and it looks alright.

The 1993 Mr2 wheels look great. Maybe you should look into those. FD wheels, too, are very nice. Hmm...how about a set of ssr mesh? No wait..those are expen$ive. Try some 88-91 Supra rims.

Gawd. With a Dark maroon car you need a Brite Chrome wheel. Almost anything would look good.

No Gold or Bronze.

Black if you're building a whip and you wanna shyft mad tyte yO

Go with a bronze wheel with a polished lip, multispokes or mesh

Talking

As was said earlier, it's all a matter of opinion. I happen to like bronze rims on dark red / maroon FCs.

www.tirerack.com has a little program on there site to help choose what rims might look good on your car.

I use photoshop for a living so get me a pic of your car plus potential rims and I'll see what I can do for you. PM me for Email adress if interested.

They'd probably be pretty hot, for a $3,200 set of wheels.
