Bad Pressure Plate???

what does the clutch pedal feel like/ do when the pressure plate is shot?
im having a problem, and i hope its not the pressure plate.

pedal will feel softer and less springy. The clutch will slip if its real bad.

well on my car, the clutch pedal will stay up strong, but as soon as you push it about 3 in., it springs down, and then the same as you pull up on it. Im so confused. Whats wrong with my baby???

its possible that there is air in the system. Have you bled your clutch lately?

no i have not... would it still make it do it consistantly tho... or would it only happen every once in a while with air in teh system?
