so i found out by just by being observant one today and found out that i have a nissan gas cap and i was wondering if it can cause the gas tank to not pressurize and cause your car to cut out under certain throttle conditions.

 

all a gas cap does is to stop vapors from going into the air. It doesnt affect the engine in anyway.
