Bad clutch install?

Hey all, just got a 87 NA Sunday. Been working on it since and got alot done to it already and was about to drive it off and then noticed the transmission bolts were way loose (from behind intake manifold).

Previous owner said it had a new clutch installed.

Anyway, he said it has sat for six years....has 99,000 miles and rode fine for the few lowspeed miles I put on it for new tires and to get it home.

Lucky me, I was just about to drive and said to myself "i'll check the trans. fluid later" then noticed the bolts.

Also, when we test drove it and after I let it idle after the filter change to NAPA and the NGK plugs ( cant find Densos) There is this beep that beeps maybe 10 times at a time then stops and only happens periodically. Could it be related to the new clutch. Should all the dash lights come alive when engine started?

So, just wanted ya'll to arm me with some info when I have an old Mazda tech (friend of the family) take a look or take it to the dealership.

all you need is like a 14 and 12 mm socket to tighten the bolts, go do it.

Dude, I just read about those seals last night and the ATF trick. But elected to get it roadworthy before venturing. Gonna save my old plugs and try it someday.

Here's some history on the car.

Oil filter @ 92369 on 5/93 with PH3593A oil filter that came in an orange box
@98183 in 11/02 another filter with 10w-30 QS.
205/60-14 Big 10 tires on 11/16/01

That is all the history.
