bad BAC, idle, has hesitation all that and a bag of chips
ok heres the deal, i picked up an 87 RX-7 with what looks to be a turbo body with a non turbo motor. Sounds wierd huh? Thats what I thought, the motor thats in the car is abviously not the original. I knew this when I got it.
So here is the problem, I have replaced the plugs, and the wires, tested the coils(igniters) and they tested out fine. I also added another ground off of the back of the tranny to the firewall. Also did a compression test and it tested out good
To no end I have looked and Looked for vacum leaks, can't find any.
The bad:
1)it idles like crap
2)it hesitates ALL through the RPM Range
3)the BAC test came back bad, the BAC tested at 12.7 Ohms when Haynes says 12.3 max.
How much would the BAC affect this?
I would test the TPS but I can't find it in the book so i don't know how to test it.
HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
any other suggestions

The bac adds more air during idle when the A/C is on, or when you turn the wheel and operate the power steering pump.
The check the TPS, go to www.fc3s.org and download the factory service manual, or go to http://home.rmci.net/panther/ and click on the throttle postion sensor adjustment link. It will tell you how to make the test lights (parts cost approx $5 at radio shack) and where to hook them up. Its pretty simple to do.

ok got the TPS.
Now, I got the TPS.... and replaced my fuel pumpAll is well, two more problems
The car bogs at idle when I start moving. Any Ideas?
And when I turn the secondary acc. on (ignition) the pump never stops.. any ideas?
And how do I tell if I have the TII or Non TII ECU, Better yet (well both) How do tell if I have a TII car or non turbo, minus stickers, engine and hood, I would really like to find out.
