bad alternator = lack of power

is this true? i just figured out my altenator was bad and was wondering if that could be why it lacked power aswell.

nay. unless it completely dies and your battery runs out as well. could always be wrong though.

Of course...
EVERYTHING electrical becomes dependent on the battery...
Ignition spark is depedent on system voltage, and relying on the battery would barely run everything for a few minutes efficiently.
