Question BACV Question

quick question, has anyone ever blown out a BACV. To the point where coolent is leaking under it? Or am i just lucky?

Blown out? have NO IDEA what you mean by that.

I can tell you however that if there is coolant leaking from it, either the hoses are cracked that attach to the BAC. Or the metal coolant tube that is attached to the BAC (small phillips screws) is cracked. Thats pretty damn unlikely though, the tube is rather thick and doesn't corrode easily that i've seen.
So if anything, replace the rubber hosing that connects to the BAC, if the nipples on the BAC are rusted, use some steel whool to get it smooth again. Buy some clamps while your at it.

Just in case you didnt know there is no coolant that goes through the BAC. The coolant line is just attached to the BAC valve and is totally independent of the BAC.
