BAC removal

BAC removal
What would removing the BAC do? I have a prob with irratic idle, tried everything, TPS adj., vac. lines, replacing the BAC. Cant figure it out

If the solenoid in the BAC valve can't move freely it won't be able to control idle properly. Try removing it and cleaning its insides with lots of penetrating/lubricating spray.

Install the initial set coupler. Set the timing dead on. Set the idle to 750. Remove the initial set coupler. If its still not better, check to see if the bac is any good by reading the info on the bac in this article.. http://www.teamfc3s.org/info/articles/idle.html and clean the bac.

Hrmm... I don't have my BAC valve thingy on anymore and my idle is a constant 750rpm when its upto operating temp and only down to 500 or so when its REALLY cold... personally I had more problems with eratic idle when I still had it on.
